Rakesh Wahi, the founder & chairman of the ABN Group, an African licensee of two internationally renowned business media brands, CNBC Africa, and FORBES AFRICA, established the ABN Trust in 2011 to centralise the CSR initiatives of the ABN Group. Financial assistance for the trust is provided by the Wahi family, the Transnational Academic Group (TAG), and Saloni Wahi, its devoted patron. Additionally, the ABN group of companies, led by Group Managing Director Roberta Naicker, alongside fellow trustees, raises the trust’s much-needed funds through its various activities, including golf days, auctions, women empowerment events, and petitions to corporate and individual donors with a commitment to assisting those in need.
